No...I have however sliced one in half whilst using a strimmer on the lawn that was hiding in some long grass. I felt terrible.....and very sick.

I think snails must count JH, they're just slugs with a backpack after all. I step on snails regularly. They tend to congregate on my back doorstep when it's been raining. I try not to stand on them, but sometimes, it's dark... and... CRUNCH!

My mother picks snails up and throws them in the bin, she doesn't even have the decency to kill it first.

Never killed one intentionally. They seem so peaceful. I love them and never bother them.

I'm no Peta freak either, I just like them. And I like eating animals too. I'm not a hypocrite.

I like slow animals like slugs and snails and turtles. They don't bother anyone, they are just getting on with their business. I think they are graceful.

Slugs, may be, but I would not have noticed because of no that horrible noise. ..poor things...
