Will.i.am has revealed he’s been asked to return to The Voice UK next year, although his other coaches haven’t (yet!)


The BBC confirmed earlier this month that The Voice would be back next Spring for a third series, although there’s been rumours of a refresh on the panel.

The Daily Mail claimed last week that producers were keen to get rid of both Jessie J and Sir Tom Jones, with a source saying: “The producers know the show needs a real shake-up.

“Jessie is incredibly unpopular with viewers and Tom looks bored the majority of the time. Something has to change.”

But while Will has been invited back, he won’t agree until he knows who will be joining him.

He told the Daily Mirror newspaper “I’ve been asked to do series three, but it would depend on who else was there and it would be a hard decision. I feel like I’m married to Jessie so it would be weird if she wasn’t there. It’s like cheating.

“I know that when I’m having a bad day I can look to my left and she will be pulling some weird face that will cheer me up. Tom will be chilled and Danny is an inspiration – he can make a song out of anything.”

Will added: “Tom is like Jesus. He is just a different school. Jesus could turn water to wine and we saw Tom do that with Leanne last year. I didn’t know that Leanne was that amazing. She came from nowhere and it was down to Tom.”

Meanwhile, Will revealed he was looking to permanently relocate to Britain.

He teased: “I’ll be here for a while. My label is based in the UK because I like this place. It’s fresh!”

I like Tom, but i think he has to go. He doesn't really bring anything in terms of chemistry with the other coaches. I guess he appeals to a certain audience, but i think someone who has a bit more of a personality will benefit the show. I think another female is needed, just to balance things up a bit.

I hope all 4 coaches stay as it offers a fantastic broad spectrum of music , experience , knowledge etc This allows the show to appeal to everyone from 1 to 100 yrs old

trouble you have is theyd be almost impossible to replace as each is very unique in their own way

Imagine trying to replace William? hes a complete one off maverick,,,, danny is just mr perfect to millions of women , Jessie has a unique and spectacular voice and Tom is methusula whos ruled since Biblical times, who replaces him, cliff Richard? lol

They might as well just get 4 new judges now Danny and Jessie have gone. I doubt Will wants to come back after two flop winners anyway & meh to Tom.

They should just axe the show altogether. I really had hope for this but it has flopped massively, the winner's have both been dreadful and the show leaves a bland taste in your mouth.

holly Willoughby destroyed the voice....the format was terrific until she took over the show with her vapid talentless meaningless redious monologues.....the show is massively popular elsewhere too.....she alone ruined it

Well that's a lot of bull**** . Brian dowling was a **** presenter but big brother was still ok . Holly is a good presenter but is just not that right for the voice

Will is easily the most entertaining judge, Tom & Danny can wander off couldn't care less. Will be disappointed if Jessie J left cos she's a nice bit of eye candy for an early Saturday night.
