THE new Big Brother series is set to be the steamiest ever — with a see-through shower.

Modest housemates can hide their blushes with a button that frosts the glass.

But producers hope contestants bare all for the cameras after the last series proved a washout.

The king-size shower room has been built big enough for romps with two or more people.

The Sun has had a peek inside the house as it nears completion for BB5 at Elstree, Herts.

As well as the shower there’s an outdoor jacuzzi, pool, ‘love nest’ and MUDBATH.

Single-sex bedrooms are replaced with one big room, temporarily separated by a screen.

Identities of would-be housemates are secret but a Romanian asylum seeker is among the 40 shortlisted before the final 12 are picked.

He is in his 20s and has an “unusual sense of humour”.

A Channel 4 source said: “The auditions this year have been more exciting than a lot of the footage from Big Brother 4.

“We’ve had naked men, topless women and groping couples.

“Some are willing to do ANYTHING to get on TV.”

Another source involved in the building of the house revealed: “It seems really small and cramped. The programme makers are hoping that will lead to a lot of close contact.

“I don’t think they’ve got an allotment or chickens like before.”

Human behaviour specialist Pete Cohen said: “This Big Brother will be the most likely one yet to give viewers some in-house sex.”

The new series begins on Friday May 28.

Hope this is completely accurate - talk about going over the top. Will get the ratings but will all BB fans keep watching. I wonder shocked:

BTW we've had nudity before - how about BB3 in the bathroom when Alex showed all, BB2 with Helen, Amma and Eliabeth, plus the IPS having a shower, Brian showing all etc etc, Jade stripping etc. etc.

The house looks good although not keen on the see through shower Idea! But it's the people that make BB so as far as i'm concerned it can loook like a pig sty as long as the Housemates are good this year!! Oh please let them be good this year!

Not sure I believe this, especially after Davina denied this on Parkinson the other day! I have to say I honestly feel the producers would prefer a Helen and Paul romance than a live sex show as that, In my opinion, is what the british public would prefer! But who knows..

Details of the new 'Big Brother' house are emerging - and it looks like this one will be geared up for lurve.

The latest leaks say they're hoping to up the ratings by installing a large see-through shower which can hold several people, although contestants do have the option to frost the glass if they don't want to show all their bits.

The housemates will all be sleeping in one room with a screen splitting it into two parts.

And to encourage raunchy behaviour there will apparently be an outdoor jacuzzi, 'love nest' and mudbath.

I have walked round the back of the set, and believe me you are more likely to happen upon someone staggering along holding a can of Special Brew than you are to espy a woodland creature.
