Just thought I would pop in to see how you are all getting on.

Now then Sticks.....'the celery and Cochroach' are NOT getting their hands on us...whoever they are. We stay as

Boris's Bar

And NO other. ( I will look into the matter of superior Guinness from Dublin's fair city.)

Bar staff all seem to be in order. Thank you all for appling for your jobs and taking over so promptly. It has been a great relief on my hour of need.

AND KAZ...my trusty bar manager. I know we are in safe hands when you are around. Glad to have you back behind the bar...in front of it......on top of it....and even on Saturday nights, under it !!!!That is how you look on Sundays....

We will go from strenth to strength now that the 'team' is reunited'.

Rob...don't take the abstinance too far. A drop of the amber liquid can liven many a dull hour. And in answer to your question... the turn tonight is me....better bag your bar stools quickly for a good view.

The team is reunited,
The bar will not be blighted,
Not a cellery stick,
For you to pick,
I hope you are delighted.

We will go on
To have some fun,
We will not stop,
Untill we drop,

So come her for a drink and chat, a bit of entertainment...anything that you fancy infact.

See you soon and remember, when all else fails , form an orderly que behind me and we will all soon be very merry....

Glad to see you back Kaz - we've missed you.

Boris - I can tell you are feeling better cos you are back to bossing us all around LOL. Dont mean that really.

You know we are loyal, hardworking members of staff who wouldnt dream of reminding you of the pay rise you promised. Well Ok perhaps you didnt, but how about it.

Perhaps a staff party with balloons, party favours and entertainment would suffice if the bar cant afford monetary recompense.

If ROB is Teetotal, like I am, you need not worry.

First there is the re-opened coffee bar, now other parties seem to have dropped the take over bid, for the moment

Plus, you can always do what the other establisments do and make an absolute mint on the soft drinks, upon which there usually is a greater mark-up than the alcoholic drinks.

Just one problem with that Sticks my friend - I am also off the tea and coffee.

I am a model of restraint and decorum.

If life gets anymore exciting than this, I may just implode from the sheer adrenaline of it all.........

I think I might manage to provide something a little better for that occasion - perhaps a nice Marks and Spencer Cava I'm told it is almost as nice as champagne. Dont think OH's credit card would cover me for celebrating me 'writing to all those mad people' as OH calls you (cheek of it)

But then what he doesnt know doesnt hurt him.

I'll spoil myself and partake of a little sparkling diet Dry Ginger ale.

No steady!

Just the two ice cubes for me, I'm cutting down!

Besides, I want my head to be clear for when the 'turn' comes on later............

In honour of you breaking the 3,000 posts mark, BusyBee . . . . a champagne cocktail.

Close your eyes and pretend it's fizzy water if you must!!
