I'm just watching and cannot work out where they are placed this year? And are the large and small combined or separate?

Looks like they're combined. The large task room is accessed via the door on the side of the stairs and it looks like the small task room is through the large task room... they're not totally separate this year.

The large task room is back-to-back with the bedroom due to the tunnel that leads from the large task room to the bedroom, meaning those doors on the wall of the entrance can't lead to anything as the task room is behind them somewhere?

The small one is just off the large one, which is in the top left portion of the house. It is more clear if you find the map that was on BBBOTS.
