There are something like 50,000 planes take off every day worldwide, and if you compare that to the number if crashes there are, I reckon it's a fairly safe way to travel

I'm surprised at that photo of the passengers leaving the plane.. They seem to have brought luggage etc with them? If I was in an emergency situation like that I'd be first down the chute without giving my bag a second thought!

If they were all flights from South Korea to San Francisco thats about 4 flights! its not much experience is it.

There is an audio of the air traffic control radio coms on liveleak i cant make much of it but to me it sounds like everyone thought they were at 3100ft but i dont know its all very confusing.
