Default

Now Confirmed

"A Lithium battery within an
emergency locator transmitter (ELT) caused a fire
on an Ethiopian Airlines 787 Dreamliner
at Heathrow Airport.

Air accident investigators said they believed
the blaze started in an emergency beacon's
lithium manganese batteries, which either
overheated or short circuited."
