|
About 2.5bn-ish exists in China & India alone. I don't think the UK really has that much of a population problem. There's only 62.74m in the UK, which is pretty normal for a country the size of ours. The only place that I've been that I'd say is actually overcrowded is London. In Burnley where I grew up, the town is actually shrinking, not growing.

It's not really a problem the planet could hold 20 or 30 billion people if need be, as there as vast tracts of land on the earths surface which are vastly under utilised eg Canada, Australia, Scandinavia . Population density of these countries is extremely low ...
