Well I am black. But did you hear the initial remark that got him sacked? He called Emile a lazy nijah. People that have this kind of thinking may be harmless in the sense that they won't go around at night wearing masks and attacking those they hate, but it's not harmless in the sense that people that have these views make for uncomfortable every day living or situations. Like did you watch that experimental series where a mixed race couple were in Manchester. The waiter was being so racist and nobody said a word. It's harmful in that way that you feel people are against you, or have an idea of it which isn't correct and it can be depressing. Imagine a little muslim girl now not knowing any better starts going around crying to her mum people are scared of me just because I wear this. that's sad.

Totally agree with this post.

I don't mind people making racial jokes about my race.

If it's funny, i'll laugh

If it's not, i won't . Simple as that.

It's not something that would bother me personally.

I wish everyone saw it that way.

Jokes are jokes but real racism is something else. When you have been on the receiving end of actual racial abuse - you know the difference, whatever your creed or colour.

Jokes are jokes but real racism is something else. When you have been on the receiving end of actual racial abuse - you know the difference, whatever your creed or colour.

so you wouldn't mind a pint with big ron? Knowing in the back of his mind he could be thinking what a nijah. Or you make a certain joke, or do a certain stereotypical thing and he chuckles, pfft typical. People like this typically think other races are beneath them. they might not be the most vulgar of racist but still uncomfortable.
