More on Demba-Ba-to-Arsenal

Chelsea are happy to loan Ba to Arsenal, but want a fee of £3m, apparently. Arsenal are only prepared to pay £1.5m, apparently. This from Geraint Hughes standing outside the Arsenal training ground for Sky Sports News, with a rowdy group of local young yahoos chanting behind him. I suspect it may be a very long day for Geraint.

FFS. I'm so sick of Arsenal taking the p*ss with their transfer bids. Every one knows we've got the money, loads of money, more than all the premier league clubs combined (almost) so why the hell are we haggling over 1.5 mil?

This. But Arsenal fans can finally get excited about a Wenger signing. This guys isn't Gervinho or Santos or BEntdner or Eboue. This guy is actually good lol. I wouldt put it past him to become our best player in like 3 games so we can say to Wenger that this is what happens when you buy quality.

Here's a swirl of rumour, an eddy of tittle-tattle, a ripple of speculation – Radio Marca are apparently reporting that Liverpool have had a £30m move for Juan Mata knocked back by Chelsea.


Sounds like bollocks. Unless Suarez is off to Madrid. Don't think he'd come here anyway.
