IAC is terrible enough of a show as it is but it'd be dreadful without their links, whoever writes them needs a pay rise. Also SNT is one of the best light entertainment prime time shows of the last decade

..I guess my 'controversial'..(or otherwise..)..opinion on the Rhianna/Chris Brown thing is that if she was an aggravating and unpleasant person then I doubt she would have just been that in that incident but through their relationship those characteristics would be there..so he had the option to walk away from that relationship rather than lay his hands on her...for me there is never an 'understanding' for what he did...( I know very little about her but imo the only relevance of any possible negativity in her personality is that up until that point of hitting her, he chose to stay in the relationship..he made a choice, she didn't make a choice to be hit..)...

..the whole 'respect'/younger/older people...and specifically to TiBB really, which is more of a personal experience than an opinion because I think that's something that most people can only comment on...their own personal experiences...most people who have personally spoken to me in a way I find 'disrespectful' and without provocation have been younger people..mind you, most people here are probably younger than me anyway, so that might have something to do with it...I don't think that young people in general are disrespectful though..in my real life I know many younger people and many older people and find them both equally respectful..so long as they feel as though they are being respected in return, I guess...for me it's just more of a specific personality thing maybe and really nothing age related at all....

..I also think that it would be good if people could and would try to talk in a 'mature' and respectful way to each other but I've probably got a bit 'pffft' at for suggesting that before so maybe that's just not possible...
