Default AsdaWalmart in York will 3-D Print a mini plastic of you for £40

Thats cheaper than other places

"From Tuesday, customers at one Asda store in York will be able to have anything up to the size of a car scanned and reproduced as a 20-centimetre model, though the brand expects people will mostly order figurines of themselves."

http://www.dezeen.com/2013/10/11/asd...nting-service/

"The scanning process will take two minutes, using a hand-held scanner, then the digital files will be sent away to be printed ready for collection one week later. Prices will start from £40 and the models will be available in white, bronze or painted in full colour."

I was reading about this last week and they were saying they expected the main use of this to be for figurines for wedding cakes. I can see stories coming out soon of the unusual items they are asked to reproduce though. I bet people try to get pets done etc.

A London Selfridges Deal is way more than £40
its £159
and not the same as the AsdaWalmart machine.
