It'd be pretty easy to set up a big league too, and use places like the o2 and MEN as home stadiums for teams if they could somehow get the interest in it

Hmm..
football, then rugby, then cricket...and F1 but I'm not sure if that counts, and then you have the likes of tennis and golf that are massive when there is a major tournament on and then there's darts |

Yeah I would have added tennis but most Brits only watch it when Wimbledon is on, but then again most of the country does tune into it

Yeah, they're not like an exclusive sport..or a team sport..so it is basically just Football, rugby and cricket as the main 3 that actually have leagues that get mainstream coverage

It's not a great time for F1 at the moment though, Vettel has dominated for so long most fans are becoming bored of it.. If it wasnt for Vettel it would be great right now

Someone was spreading word that if Brazil doesn't get done by the time the WC was rolling around, that they would tap the US to host it.
US soccer head denied it immediately. There's rumors that there could be a US/Mexico co bid for 2026.
