Scream 4 was a hell of a lot better than the third one. I don't even count S3 as part of the franchise. That was, in Josy's words, awful

A mobile phone dropped out of Sydneys boyfriends pocket which meant he was the killer lol.

I didn't mind 4. It had decent ideas, I liked her cousin being the killer. But it could have been a lot better.

The opening scenes are crap.

Yeah, I love all 4.
Admittedly, it goes 3 < 4 < 2 < 1
But they're all leagues ahead of any modern day horror.

Dimensions facebook is constantly spammed; no matter what they post, with comments like "we want Scream 5"
Instead, they sell the rights to MTV to destroy the franchise in a **** TV series with a "supernatural element"...
