Default will the music video kill music ?

will the music video kill music ? 07.11.13

it is so boring,
the record is stuck,
complaints are soaring,
we are back in a music ruck.
lady's are still parading,
swinging and luring there pelvis,
but compared to the past grading,
is this any different from "Elvis".
this is a business plan,
its constructed to out rage,
the photographers are there to scan,
hopping to get a "front page".
with "nothing on" is it rude,
i am sure the guys are merry,
to see young lady's dancing in the nude,
with only a string to cover the cherry.
has "music" got a repeat badge,
or is it just going to progress into porn,
even "dignity" is being lost from the likes of "Madge",
its no wounder the industry is torn.
get some self respect,
before the consequences are tragic,
if "real music" you want to detect,
then you can listen to "legends" on "Mellow Magic".

( i can not believe i have done a music condemn and not highlighted legends such as Freddie Mercury - George Micheal - Micheal Jackson David Bowie Mick Hucknall etc etc but what i want to no is - has music lost its way ? seen as to be in the lime light you seem to now have to outrage by wearing very little ? or am i being to harsh and this is just to stay in the lime light and i have fell for it hook line and sinker by giving them more publicity ? discuss ?)

Just my opinion but it seems artists make music for the music vids rather than the actual music now.

Music vids make me cringe, watching 15 year old lads with brylcream hair holding one hand to their chest while doing their best impression of puppy dog eyes to reel in the 13 year old lasses gets a bit tedious.

No, music videos actually make me like certain songs even more or can change my opinion completely

music is on its knees. killed by the internet. music videos are pretty worthless these days
though sex still sells hence the miley video and blurred lines. but no one is buying the albums like they used to after watching the video

artists no longer get record companies paying for videos or much promotion anymore , hence why so many pay for it themselves. i think jackson used to.
or if you got a crap song do a miley then your get noticed. but to be fair mercury dressed as a woman for break free. britney madonna etc have always done risky videos , prince etc. its nothing new.
i like videos they can be very good with free you tube and other sites they should always do them as its good and cheap promotion.
saw a springsteen one the other day called dream baby dream just amazing use of a video very emotional stuff.. also lana del reys ride video was great with that intro.

i hate and i mean hate boy band videos its just so fake.

You're using the blanket term "music" here, but really what you mean is "pop music".

And with that being said, the answer is surely either "who cares?", or, "hopefully!".
