There has to be more to it than that. In some way this could be their view of what the apparent 'perfect human' looks like.

Some people go to extreme lengths to look like people they think are perfect to try and alleviate their own personal hang-ups.

and yeah, I've seen him on a show, but it was quite a while ago, I think it was a documentary Alex Brooker was doing, and I think he was featured in all of the daytime TV shows a while back
