Why do people still believe in paranormal or supernatural occurrences in 2013? Why do people still believe in ghosts and that mediums can communicate with dead people? I am so confused and curious about why..

Because as absurd as some of it sounds, it cannot by it's nature be scientifically disproved (This may also be due to the fact any extensive research into it would be considered a waste of money)

But it's so stupid, if the person is dead then they are dead, I know it's sad but, it's just impossible. :/ Like the amount of people who have died since the beginning of time is probably an extremely enormous number, how would they be able to single out a certain ghost or whatever. o_o

I know. I used to have these type of conversations with my dad because he loves watching those spirit medium shows and even went to a few himself. Poor lad just cant wrap his head around that it's mostly just cold reading. But i just leave him be because it makes him happy so i just say nothing anymore lol

Mediums are a load of baloney as nobody can tell if a Ghost is there or not, but I certainly would not rule out any Supernatural beings existing as it's naive to think that's it's just Humans and a few lower chained animals on this planet I think.
