Default Power/Gas Companys reducing prices?

I got a letter from my power company (Scottish Power) saying they are reducing prices from this month.

I was working it out and will save a whopping.........£1.26 per month.

This is possibly due to people saying they can't afford to heat their homes though?

I think another is as well.
At least any downward move is a plus but the whole set up needs a total re-assessment and whole new guidelines that are enforcable and more to the point that will be enforced.

Could this be the fantastic savings the government promised us?
Cutting back on the green deal prices.

Have they done away with the green levies then?...Know they kept blaming them, didn't think they'd done it.
