Well there's high school/college people on this forum.

So there you go you do actually 'mix' with them.

I can't remember there being any popstars that people in my school year were obsessed with, but then I went to an all-boys school lol... my niece and brother are my windows to current teenagers, and she's a Bieber/1D freak and he's not really (but he goes to my school).

I think they're about the same as they were ten years ago (when I was)... wanting to hang out all the time, communicating online however's most convenient, and swept up in all sorts of weird slang that us oldfolk find confusing.

Pretty similar at college to school (the way people are) except there's no 12 year olds running around

Not too dissimilar; they like different stuff to the people my generation did but most of what they like is just a replacement of the stuff we were into and its core is basically the same **** with a different face to it music, TV shows etc...

The title of this thread has given me another thread idea...

I think my year was one of the last syear before the whole digital explosion, like now everyone has a computer so homework is piss easy, Wikipedia copy and paste and you're sorted lol.

We had to atleast copy out of books so some effort was involved, cassettes and vhs were just being phased out. Im so glad I grew up in an era where you had to wait for something though and not everything was available at the click of a button.

God I sound old but being in high school and experiencing the whole millennium buzz ect looking back was an actual era so im glad my high school days were 1999/2002 time.

Plus we were all the target age to experience the Big Brother phenomenon
