I don't have a problem with romance as such but, yes, especially US shows tend to be stuck in the pattern of not being able to have male and female main characters without some sexual tension/will they-won't they situation.

They make them too serious and unbelievable for my liking.

TVD will always get renewed even though its gone to ****, the fanbase is massive and 3 mil is hugely successful ratings for the Cw, I do think the next season will be the last though since the story really isnt going anywhere now

I guess it's the same for Supernatural.
But I still find that kinda watchable.

Hope Under The Dome is renewed after Season 2 and A&E renew Bates Motel.

Not surprised by Revolution, that show could have been so good if it'd been picked up by a cable network and they had cast some decent actors, got some better writers etc. Such a missed opportunity.
