As for Libby being boring, what do you expect, she's not blond nor a Slater, so she was never going to be a writer's favourite. Never thought I'd agree with Lenny Henry but non white characters over the years are constantly ignored and unserved by white writers: Dexter, Jordan, Tamwar, Fatboy, Becca, Denise, Shabnam (both versions), Patrick, Syd, Tosh to name some.

Not surprised, it is a shame because I think Jamie is a good Actor but they really ran out of ideas for Jake after Sadie/Bella left and after he split up with Lauren.

She's not fulfilling any "quota". She's back briefly because her mother is still in the show.

If anything she's part of the "plan" to revert the show to pre-Kirkwood. IIRC he axed Libby back in 2010.

There's been brief appearances of family members for a few characters since DTC took over so this is nothing new.

I'd hardly call the Masood's underserved and up until 2 years ago Denise had quite a hefty bank of story lines.

I enjoyed that episode, something for everyone in terms of the storylines.

I'm glad Stacey confessed to clear Bradley's name though, she will probably get a short sentence but I am glad whatever happens it draws a line under the Archie saga and wipes the slate clean for when she is back in the Summer.

I wonder what that key Stacey gave to Lauren is about?
