Default Derren Brown: Trick Or Treat (Tonight 10.00pm)

Hey guys! I've just seen this wicked advert on TV for Derren Brown's new show, "Trick or Treat". It sounds OK, even though I think most of his shows are sad, but why call it that when we are approaching Easter, not Halloween lol?

Anyway, it will start next Friday at 10.00pm on Channel 4, which will replace The Charlotte Church Show on Friday nights. Derren Brown's show will be a new series, not a one-off. So, who is watching it next Friday?

It's Friday 13th!!! I forgot. It was checked on all the Fridays in April, and I missed it out.

The award-winning, inimitable master of psychological illusion is back with a brand new series. But this time round, Derren's unique form of magic and mind games will have an even darker twist.
Each week Derren surprises a member of the public and offers them a blind choice of a Trick or Treat card. If they pick ‘Treat', Derren will use his skills to ensure something pleasant happens to them. If they pick ‘Trick', they may well not enjoy the bizarre and astonishing experiences that ensue. Either way, the volunteers have no idea which card has been chosen and are subject to secret filming as Derren plays extraordinary mind games with them.
Shot in the UK and America, Derren Brown: Trick or Treat also includes astonishing new stunts, as well as celebrities eager to experience Derren's skills first hand. Celebrities featured include the artists Jake and Dinos Chapman, actor Simon Callow and comedians The League of Gentleman.

7 Days To Go...

Did anyone watch Derren Brown's Seance, which was on after BB5?

I always enjoy his shows so I will watch this one. Liked the one where he persuaded three ordinary people to carry out an armed robbery.

I think he uses standard magic tricks a lot of the time and then pretends it is all psychological and 'mind control'.

Still good though.

I dunno. I reckon a lot of it can be easily explained by psychological mind games. It just depends on how you think. Think outside the box as they say.. *nods philosophically*

OMG!!! I have never been so amazed and freaked out at the same time!

That was the best episode ever!!!!! I cannot believe he actually pushed her in!

Have to admit, found it rather amusing when he was casually peering over the side to see whether or not she was drowning! (does that sound rather wrong, lol)
