Default If the Broadcasters want Nigel Farage in the Debates Ed Miliband says yes

He was on A. Marr BBC1
with Nigel next to him
at the show ending

He said if the broadcasters
want Nigel in the debates
with the PM , Him and Clegg
he says yes.

I hope LBC/SkyNewsHD do one with the 4.

Although I disagree with near all he stands for, Nigel Farage that is,I think there is a case for him to be included this time.

He doesn't open up debate, he bangs on about the same points constantly... it's not the same.

Of course it should be "allowed" ... We can't start censoring politics by simply trying to silence controversial opinions... even if it's "the bad stuff ". It sets a dangerous precedent.

A sanitised more palatable version for the more genteel voter.

I'm not so sure - UKIP don't have a single MP. Say Farage is invited on to the debates, what happens if the other minor parties who have MP's want to appear? The likes of the Greens, Respect, SNP and Plaid Cymru all have MP's unlike UKIP. Many would argue this wouldn't be fair.

Actually that is an excellent point ... It's all down to his ridiculous posturing and the bizarre statements his hangers on come out with that has got this media attention.
It has been a PR stunt and nothing more that has led to this point and nothing of any merit or achievement whatsoever.
Soundbites, rhetoric and controversy that's what this sandcastle of a party is.

Bit rich that.... but if that's what you think.

UKIP are out of touch, look at the ridiculous statements made by the spokespersons and the outmoded thinking of the party ethos arista.

Maybe UKIP doesn't have any MPs but they've got plenty of MEPs. This election is a European election, so I don't really understand your objection. What's more, they have loads of Councillors and this time next year after the General Election, going on current public support, they'll have plenty of MPs too. This isn't a notion that pleases me... but I believe it will happen.

10 good reasons not to vote for Ukip
Nigel Farage may seem genial but his party is anything but. The polls tell us that many voters are tempted to vote Ukip at the next election, while others dismiss them as a joke – but the prospect of them gaining more power in Europe is no laughing matter

God knows we don't often agree, Kizzy... but the thought of UKIP doing as well as I suspect they will really concerns me. At least if they do well at the Euros, it may give the other parties the kick up the arse they need to up their game before the General/Local Elections in 2015.

Ukip will combine income tax and national insurance into a flat-rate income tax of 31% for all incomes over £11,500."

We will pass legislation that establishes beyond doubt that schools and teachers have the right to discipline pupils without fearing legal action. Ukip will also give schools the choice of whether or not to use corporal punishment, but does not advocate this as a party."

Who were they trying to appeal to here? These have supposedly been dropped but come on does the country really believe they have forgone some of these wild and wooly policies?
