Default Rumours: BB8 to be a Battle? (and related topics merged)

Apparently this year Big Brother is going to surprise everybody. The series will, according to an informant, be a “battle between two (or more) teams who will live in the new house. The new house will, apparently, be divided into two (or more) parts.

It will be more similar to BB3 which featured the divide and - for the first time - will be called Big Brother: The Battle. The informant says the new eye is not finished yet, but that Eatock and his staff are still working on it. It’s allegedly called Double The Trouble .

Anyway, this is quite an interesting rumour, but lest we don’t forget the same one crops up nearly every year. However, producers did say BB8 would be “very different so who knows?

Why can't they just have the divide again? They did that with the returning housemate.

I really hope this doesn't happen, it's always nice to see new ideas but to me this seems like a pretty poor one.

Nope, don't like it. It's been done before in BB3 and in BB around the world.

I don't like that idea. It sounds like it's clutching at straws somewhat. Then again, it might just be crazy enough to work. There's only one way to find out though.

Hmm not too sure about this. It seems like it's trying to manipulate tension and confrontation to much, we had enough last year of the producers provoking situations. Let things happen naturally I say.
