Default Ironic how Big Brother was up against The Hunger Games Tonight.

At 9pm on channel 4: The Hunger Games film began and ended at 11:50pm
While at 9pm on channel 5: Big Brother played.

Just thought it was ironic and I diffidently think it put in direct competition against it to seal the 16/32 demographic.

I really wanna see the ratings for it, it's a big movie with a major chunk of the 16/32 audience that Big Brother was after.

This. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is the best film but The Hunger Games is the best book of the three.

That seems to be the trendy thing to say these days. IMO Battle Royale (the film, haven't read the book) is average at best. I've only seen one hunger games film on netflix and was suprised how much I enjoyed it.

As I watched the film, I just kept thinking, how much it was like Big Brother, and more specifically, "Why do they keep interfering" with the heroes" ?

its far fom average. its original and harrowing. i guess its like if people want their drink strong and potent or prefer it sweet and sickly. i prefer the former

its like old boy and the ring. the original gets watered down for hollywood. or ideas stolen and made p.g for the masses. which is fine but hunger games no one died in the 2nd one except the script lol

one is a fictional account of how gullible the viewing public are by getting actors to play ordinary people.

and the other is The Hunger games

Well deserved film premier. I bet catching fire will be shown next year right before the official launch of Mockinjay Part 1
