Default The only problem I have with this twist is...

...that it will probably be the boys week next week and since Jale's had her killer nomination voided for the week, Helen will no doubt have her pass to the final voided next week which would be ****ing dreadful

This twist in itself is great and long overdue since it's the girls that are bringing the most to the show, but we need to hope that they'll not flip it next week since let's be real it's not as if the guys need protecting after three girls leaving is it?

I'm not convinced that Helen's pass isn't going to be revoked though, there's just been way too many mentions and references to it for my liking now...discussions on BOTS, Emma and Rylan talking about how 'for now' she's staying, them showing conversations on the show with her talking about how it's a burden etc...I can totally see them coming up with something to take it off her and that really will be the end of the show. I know someone will come in here and say 'people say the show is over after every person leaves!!!!!' but I've said on here for the past couple of weeks now that only when all of Pauline, Toya and Helen leave will this series die a death. Pauline's departure didn't have much of an effect as I conceded it wouldn't the day before her eviction, now with this twist I hopefully don't think Toya's will have too much of a detrimental effect either...but if Helen goes that's it done as far as I'm concerned.

She is undeniably the focal point of the show and most of the housemates are even commenting on how she controls everything in there and she's the catalyst for most of the storylines...if you get rid of her then I don't see the rest of this cast bringing much else to the table. If the producers have any sense at all (this twist is promising, but their track record says otherwise) then they won't flip this twist next week and they will never pander to the people sillily calling for Helen's pass to be revoked...surely they know what's best for them?

Agree, we aren't seeing the depth of character in previous years to carry through without her.

I personally think she can be really vile, but then I think she must have had real bad times in her life to be so defensive so quickly. I think if we knew more about her past and why she is the way she is we might understand her better. Not endorsing her behaviour, but I would love to know more about her, she actually interests me unlike some others.

I mean if you take this out of context this can easily be describing Pauline and her eviction ended up being great. Helen's reign of terror isn't exactly doing good things for the show (at least for my enjoyment of it) and if she's evicted/ejected/however the **** she leaves then that should just free things up like Pauline's eviction did. Helen can't really provide much more that she hasn't brought already. Her meltdowns are already uncomfortable to watch in their current state and will only get worse.

The method of choosing will test them and the girls are not necessarily exempt from ending up in the eviction line up.

No chance it will be boys next week. It's only because they've lost three girls and no boys

It would only be fair to do the reverse next week, I suppose, but I'm sort-of beyond caring whatever twists they're manipulating the evictions with.

They'll probably reverse it mid week and allow the men to then choose one woman to face eviction.

I agree. I really hope Helen's pass is not revoked. She's the most controversial housemate in the house and has made a huge impact. I don't want her to leave yet because there are more story lines for her to deliver. Every housemate seems to have a strong opinion about her or can't stand her and it's interesting to see how people react to her domineering personality. It would be stupid if she left so early in the series. She needs to stay til the very end.

We have had hints of her opening up her vulnerable side. I want to see more of that side of her to really understand what goes on in her head.

She must have caring side, surely...

The men are dull this year in general, big brother did this to keep the women which are making the highlights around a week longer.

And hope the men kick off in an all male showdown as the girls will only be able to make a few immune to eviction.

And stir things up next time round.

Helen's the best female housemate (so far) IMO. Really hope her pass isn't revoked.

..crikey Jack, I hadn't even thought of that..that this is now a way that they can revoke Helen's pass for week and if they do that..(and really giving the guys the power for a week is the fair thing for them to do..)...we all know that they will make sure she's up for eviction because it will be the only chance and then she will be gone, there is no doubt about that...

..hmm, I have mixed feelings about it though..I also have always thought that so long as she's there, there will always be 'drama and entertainment' so it's kind of made any of the other bigger characters going feel of less importance than it would have normally been and also I do think the whole revoking of these things even for a week makes a mockery of the whole power thing..whether anyone likes the housemate or not...but also what I've been thinking Jack is that with Helen particularly maybe because she was 'known' before she went into the house and not in a very positive way...is that they've almost set her up as a 'victim' of hate because apart from her past etc, BB only ever show her in a negative way and I'm sure that she does have some nicer things they could show as well...and I know she's agreed to go in there and put herself up for this and also she's responsible for her own behaviour etc..but I'm also starting to become less 'entertained' by this sort of lack of caring by BB...or it seems as though they don't care..and for me, it's starting to become just how far do they go for entertainment because being 'hated' so much by the public could possibly have an impact on housemate's real lives...so in some ways and maybe in a big way, I think cutting short this hate and getting her out a bit earlier wouldn't be such a bad thing for her...

Maybe Helen's pass to the final will be voided for ONE week? So for one week she can be nominated, but if she isn't nominated and/or evicted then she gets her pass back?

I think its a great twist but what I am hoping is that they make the girls do face to face noms.

It would be only fair to do the reverse & have Helen up...

And there is no other side to her, she is a c** t, that is her one & only true self...

Lol at a double eviction when a whole gender has been made immune. Save that for next week when we should have some proper noms for once.

But this happens every single year-women flood out and the guys stay then one goes on to win. I really think it will be the guy's turn, if not next week then soon otherwise it's discrimination, but they'd better do it soon-there won't be any women to do it to otherwise because they'll all be out.
