Hey peeps.

Noone seems to have noticed that the Producers have copied some of Lampy's ideas for the new house.
The entrance is exactly the same as Lampys design with a platform running along the front of the house.

Is Lampy an insider or something?
I heard they have used his/her designs before?

Lots of people have made house designs with the same idea. They probably just decided it need a change. I doubt the house designers even look onto these forums.

Agreed as well, i don't think they are as silly to copy a forum members idea, the suggestion sounds quite childish, id put it down to coincidence

And anyway, just because the stairs are on the right doesnt mean there's a platform - it looks like they're moving the stairs and the door to the right.

I disagree, ive only ever seen a house design with stairs like that, and thats Lampys.
Its exactly the same staircase/entrance. And you'd be surprised were the insiders look for inspiration.
Im thinking someone from the show has seen this forum and liked the entrance idea and has used it.
Sorry but evidence speaks for itself. You cannot deny the similarities

theres only one similarity as we know, and thats the staircase. it cannot be assumed by lookin at the ariel views of the house what design it actually is. i jus think theyre shuffling the house round this year to give it a much needed 'new look'.

I'm sure its just a coincidence that Lampy had it on his design as well. I don't think they saw Lampys house design and said "Oh, that looks good, we will use that".

Let me put it this way. Last year the eye logo was similar one of his/her designs, you put it down to coincidence and this year the stairs are exactly like one of his/her designs. Two coincidences? Im doubtful!
Why wouldnt they use some elses work?

Lampys eye was similar but also had a lot of differences i.e the swirls and the blue background (For those interested it is on the The Sun's BB micro-site). But you cant say that they wouldn't have done this if Lampy didn't do it. Im positive it is just a coincidence. In fact a did a house plan a long while ago and it had the same thing, but im not saying they used my idea.

Its just a coincidence I'd say, I'm just hoping its not a battle!! seeing two gardens is really worrying me now!! I hope one is a Smoking Garden or something!

Anyway, look, do you really think that the house designers and Daniel Eatcock comes on to fan site forums and thinks "Oh, I'll use that idea". I'm sure its just a coincidence.

And, well we dont even now if the stairs are staying there, they might be moved back to where they usually are.

theres only a certain number of changes they can make to the exterior anyway. what matters in what the interior design is like. then u can compare it with lamypy's designs.

I just think that its stupid that your denying the similarites. Why would the move the stairs back? An i'm pretty sure the designers and the producers visit the forums. I mean the tabloids obviously do so why not the actual program makers?

theyve only changed the outside twice in 5 years, and theyve been virtually the same everytime

You know on that article you can clearly see the black metal stairs they have used for years. They have even maked it in a nice big red box that says 'STAIRS WHERE THE HOUSEMATES WILL ENTER.
