I hope they squeeze one more debate in before their holidays, Get him to prove he's against properly and it's not just paying lip service... ' recess' pffft, and people moan about teachers having too much time off.

I really don't know how this ridiculous man dare look a single voter in the eye.
What blatant and disgusting hypocrisy.

I know of really good Lib Dem councillors who were telling their Parliamentary colleagues about the dangers of this policy, long before it even reached a vote.
Clegg and the rest of the Lib Dem cowards took not a bit of notice of anyone.

They supported it fully and have defended it against all professional and charities opinions, even when it was highlighted the problems it was causing and how unjust it was.

What a hypocrite and not just him but every single Lib Dem MP who got this through Parliament.
I really hope it is never forgotten that this unjust and heartless piece of legislation along with a great many others, could never ever have come into being without the support of Clegg and his MPs.

What a bunch of opportunists and liars too, whatever else happens in the 2015 election,I hope this sickening and cowardly lot are left well out in the cold.
Labour want to abolish the bedroom tax, that is the place to go for those who really want rid of this rotten policy.
I hope voters don't trust or believe the Lib Dems, who have absolutely no political crediblility or integrity left at all, even morseo after this announcement today.

Absolutely unbelievable.

I agree..........can't believe this man has the cheek to even show his face in public again after this pathetic U turn.

He should be ashamed of himself for supporting such a clearly ill thought out and heartless policy and now to just backtrack because the Election is fast approaching is ..well defies belief.

I hope his party is trounced in the next election I hope they struggle to hold onto any M.P's and most of all I hope Mr Clegg is dumped out of the leadership post and loses his seat in Parliament as well.

Couldn't happen to a nicer man.

.

He could yet lose his Sheffield seat in 2015 Nedusa.

However, he will ride off to a lucrative job in Europe again no doubt.
