Channel 4 has made commissioning editor Angela Jain the head of E4, following Danny Cohen's move to controller of BBC Three.

Jain, who has been working on Big Brother for the past two years, will retain overall responsibility for the show, which will shortly begin its eighth series. She will report to Channel 4's director of television and content Kevin Lygo on E4, and new head of programmes, Julian Bellamy on Big Brother.

Taking on the other part of Cohen's former role, the commissioning editor for factual entertainment, Andrew Mackenzie, has been made head of factual entertainment, overseeing both Channel 4 and E4 programmes, reporting in to Bellamy.

Now that Angela is head of E4, maybe she will be able to control the content of the live streaming, like no bird noises but beep noises and no advert breaks.

if they get rid of the bird noises then i think alot more ppl will watch live streaming cuz they'll actually be able to listen to a conversation rather than the birds singing lol

I am so happy now! The only thing that should be edited during the day on E4 should be nudity and swearing. From 10pm to 5am, the live streaming should be completely live.

They can't get rid of the noise block sound effects because of legal issues and housemates could say things about relitives etc when the relitive hasn't signed a contract to say that he/she doesn't mind being talked about on Big Brother.

ahh k. it does make sense tho and acceptable too but highly annoying when theyre actually talkin bout somethin interesting.
