I don't know about anyone else but for me BB5 is still the best, 6 and 7 couldn't even compare. What I enjoyed was the tasks during BB5 especiall Bootcamp and School Task, can you imagine those type of tasks in any other series.

It was a classic and it is going to be hard to beat, but we can always hope.

I absolutel agree the tasks in the last two series have been rubbish and it was the tasks that were half the fun. I remember the tv presenter one and Michelle, Marco, Nadia in the DR talking about the Lady Garden hysterical.

Have to agree all the HM.s were great not a dud among them.Last year we had the screamfest that was Nikki, multifaced ash,the welsh talking clock Imogen babe , babe, exterminate, fake Pete, even faker romance, hypocritical snooty grace, dullard jennie, even duller susie, bolters george and dawn, mammary mountain Leah and pompous Dickie. Too much interference from bb and too many leaks if I left any one out its because they were too boring or cringeworthy to mention and that includes Shabaz. It was more like care in the community than a TV show.Lets hope this show is better.

I personally prefer 6 and even 7 but each to their own. The house design got to be a bit much over those hot summer months and BB5 almost seemed to dreary and misreable at times.

But wasn't that part of what Big Brother wanted to achieve from BB5?

They did their best to push the BB5 lot to the edge they had more tasks and any other series had as well.

I have to say that I thought BB5 - without the doubt - was the best series yet and no other series can beat it, I thought the housemates were brill and so was the tasks!

BB5 for me has been by far the best series yet, it had everything we like to see from a viewers point of view twists but nothing over the top, fun and interesting tasks then to top it all off a great set of housemates.

You have it spot on Mike, it did have everything, there were plenty of tasks so they weren't sat round all day doing nothing and we didn't have to watch them doing nothing. The tasks were fun and I especially enjoyed Bootcamp, School Task even the Wedding Task as the 3 big ones but there were so many little ones as well that I have forgotten all of them, can anyone remember them all. I remember plate-making or was that a task.

I agree Guys it had me gripped right from the start and they were a great bunch of charactors and the tasks were by far the best we have seen in any one series what has happened since I dont know but I live in hope that this one is different and they have picked the right people!

The thing is Treacle that the housemates know that they need to play up to the cameras to grab the headlines and that has spoilt it for me in the last 2 series.

You could well be right Jillian they do know the score now before they go in and what is needed to be noticed and make the headlines and therefore the big money when they come out - sad really!!

It is treacle and that is what spoils it, I taped none of the last 2 series, whereas BB5 taped everything lol.

For me, it is the best series, BB6 is my second favourite but the other 3 series I've watched (4, 7 and 8) don't even come close.

The tasks were WAY better than they have been the last two years, as have the twists, and the housemates were way better too. It didn't have too many housemates neither, there was only one newcomer, and there weren't any "filler" housemates who do nothing (well, some might argue that Vanessa, Stuart or Shell were fillers, but compared to more recent series, they were quite big characters), whereas now almost all the housemates are fillers with an exception of about 3 or 4 people.
