I never said she was blameless, I'm refuting the claim that the story appearing in the papers recently is all Helen's doing. It was all over the trashy tabloids without any interviews/input from her so it's not all her fault.

Also, she sold her side of the story AFTER the details had already been printed and sold by her former best friend along with her name which she tried to stop being released. But because she wasn't a millionaire she can't afford injunctions and they could do what they like with her.

I think the line you quoted was referencing all of the "home wrecker" style insults being thrown at her. Rooney is the home wrecker, Helen is one of many prostitutes he's paid for sex.

Helen was pursuing what was then her profession ("the oldest profession" as it's called) and being paid for it.

Rooney was certainly the cheat. How can anyone argue against that?

It's true, although of course if she hadn't agreed to do BB with the supposed intention of changing how some people view her - then the trashy rags would have found another non-story to print. She would have known that this would happen - and I suspect the aim to get others to change their view of her could be read as her hoping it would happen.

In my view she of course has exploited the situation as much as possible - either which way. Whether you think that is justified or not is down to personal judgement - but although I don't think she's the brightest spark, I really think she was knowingly complicit.

Let what slip? She never revealed the actor's name and she wasn't the one to reveal all on Rooney. She sold her story after it had already been made public by her former friend. Her name wasn't protected as she was originally promised.

You're blending two things together in this post - the original stories concerning Helen, Rooney, mystery actor and injunctions and her recent stint in the BB house creating more stories.

That is two separate, very different times.

She told "friends" about the actor, his name etc. prior to his getting an injunction and I think she admitted that either on tv at the time or in some article but I'm not going to find the quote now - so perhaps it can be dismissed.

I think the stories now about that part of her and Rooney's history are just dragging up the past - and she knew her going into BB would do that, how could it not? She got into BB because of it - can't imagine they'd have been interested otherwise?

I accept that there's new stuff too however, so I'm not actually confusing it, just saying she's complicit with the rags in dragging it up - and hopefully it'll go away again if it hasn't already and take her with it.
