Very much so, I would say for myself.

I have taken on board a great deal as to what I have read and learned as to others posts on here about a number of things really.
I feel I am more confident to say what I think too now especially as to perhaps controversial issues at times.

Obviously as you get to know and understand how people post you then get a better picture of what they think and perhaps whether you can joke with them or not.

I have had my mind changed on lots of topics and issues just from being on here,reading the way others see those issues.
On here too from when I first joined and also indeed from off here too, I have completely altered where I stand politically for instance.
