Default Irish/Welsh/Scottish housemates - Advantage or Disadvantage

Do you think housemates from Ireland, Wales or Scotland have an advantage or a disadvantage in the house?

I think that in some occasions people from the places above will feel like they have to like housemates from where they are from. Therefore they have a slight advantage over the others.

I think they will almost always have a slight advantage when it comes to voting.

I hope there's a Irish housemate this year seeing as I'm Irish myself...but to me it makes no difference, it's their personality that really matters.

Not at all..

I don't think it matters where you come from actually.

Someone who is Welsh, but has a great personality and we just come to love, may win the show.

Regardless of where they are from or their accent.

They have a slight advantage. It's not very often that you see irish/scottish/welsh housemates in that house.

Housemates will obviously get massive support from the country they are from.

I'll admit.. the minute Glyn and Imogen entered I felt like I needed to support them all the way, because they are from my country. Then I was a bit dissapointed with them, because at the start they were both boring. But then as the weeks went by I really did warm to them.

All welsh people assume wales is a country, it's a principality of England nothing else. I'm part welsh and live in Wales but sometimes am ashamed of being Welsh because of the blatant patriotism of a place that would fall to its knees without England.

*NOT AIMED AT YOU , Just at Glyn-like welsh people and people from all celt-lands who think they are seperate but joint.*

In five series the runners up have been Welsh, Scottish or Irish, so I wouldn't say they're disadvantaged. Plus, BB2 was won by an Irishman.

Advantage.

Would Cameron have won if he wasnt Scottish?
Would Orlaith have got so far if she wasnt Irish?

Its like this in all reality shows.
Just look at the McDonald Brothers in X Factor
