Like SB, Jay is under Cowell's mentorship in Overs designed to appeal to 40+ housewives. Jay is imho smug and seems best pals with Cowell who sees potential cash cow. When it goes belly up stand by for a masive fall out between Jay and Cowell when he fails to make Jay a star and stops taking his phone calls. So bitter recriminations ensue.

Jay James better not get any songs that I like this week.
Give him a Status Quo song or something. But yes Simon is building Jay up for a fall when he bombs in the charts.
