You do know Viacom only own the channel it's normally the producers who work for endemol who do.

I really don't get why people think that Viacom taking over is going to go someway to taking the show back to it's glory days.
There's no reason for them to change the eye back to the original design. Plus even if they did, it wouldn't make any difference to the quality of the actual show. It would be a great nostalgia hit but other than that..
I'm more concerned that the company behind Geordie shore is in charge. If it stays how it is, I'd be happier than if they tried to take it in that direction.

On topic though barr the ****ing terrible joke that was the BB12 eye the channel 5 eyes have actually been pretty good especially secrets and lies though it does make me feel warm inside thinking of a new Eatock eye

If viacom go down the geordie shore path theyll stick 12 horny kids in a house a hot tub a few beds and booze no tasks no nothing itll just be simple they probally wont even use the big brother house ahah theyll get some waehouse and stick em in that and to be honest id be happy if they got rid of the big brother house and just filmed them 24/7 in a unused warehouse would be a nice change.

Tbh I would mind if they used a house like the geordie shore house but that's the only thing I don't want the whole show turning into geordie shore

I don't know where you're getting your information from, or if you're just making it up as you go along but nothing of the sort has been announced or revealed to the press.

Also, I don't understand why Channel 5 would create their own identity for the show and suddenly revert to the Eatock eye which is associated with the Channel 4 era. I honestly doubt that they've suddenly decided to go back to using it. Channel 5's in-house team will be working with SHOP on the new series again, as with every series since Secrets and Lies.

Just because we now have a new owner of Channel 5 doesn't really mean a huge deal will change with Big Brother production wise. It's the exact same production team, same editors, producers, designers etc. The most that will change is the series length and the scheduling on Channel 5.
