Great to see this

Hubris on Tesco's part thinking they could take more and more of the retail market by opening more and more bigger and bigger stores.

But in their thirst for ever increasing profit they have forsaken the basics in retailing like quality products and customer service , so now all their chickens are coming home to roost.

How the mighty have fallen.

Not a Tesco fan and already ever shop there, the horse meat was the final straw for a lot of customers I think.

We have the second biggest Tesco store in Wales so no way our large one will close

I'm guessing they will close their smaller Tesco stores, ones which are in cities/towns with too many of them.

yippeee i hope they all go bankrupt,. theyre compacent greedy bullying bstards. theyr totally contempt for the customers and the comunities is now coming back to hurt them. theyve destroyed endless towns and villages for years. they offer nothing unique or original and their top down centrally controlled system makes them totally inflexible and unopen to new ideas. meanwhile brilliant co operatives like john lewis go from strength to strength with unique products and original personal experience tailored to meet personal needs

As much as I love to see a greedy corporate business fail, I can't help but feel sorry for the hundreds who will lose their jobs as a result of this.

Yes and the New boss knows all the ones
he is going to Shut Down.

But is keeping it secret

So unless they know their store is not making enough
they will not know until a few days before
