Default conforming isnt an option, lol.

Lets take Katie and Perez. They are similar in their daytime jobs or lifestyles and in the house people are slagging Katie off for being nice and at the same time slagging Perez off for being a dick. They cant win.

Chloe and Cami are getting a hard ride for playing the scantily clad girly teasers but Alicia is being slatted because she is boring.

Ken is an ageist, misogynistic, homophobe and Alex is boring.

It would appear that if you conform to your public persona you are a dick and need to be oiked but if you go in and show a different side to your public persona, you are scamming the viewers and need to be oiked.

Horses and courses etc. We need to either judge them on what they bring to the house or not at all as the outside persona image is a pre fabricated one that is designed and polished to provide them with a living. The house is a cooking pot for emotions and we should judge them on that alone.

For someone who dislikes Katie Hopkins you sure do go to great lengths to defend her.

As for your point, i disagree, there have been a great many celebs that have partaken in BB, and in reality shows in general, down the years that have been themselves and gone on to do very well, Rylan to name but one, and there have also been many that have gone in and done well with a certain reputation (Alex Reid) and left with a completely, more positive, new one.

I think you have it all wrong tbh.

It's perfectly fine to be yourself, it's a reality show after all, what annoys a lot of people is when you clearly aren't being yourself to the point you are constantly attention seeking, playing up to the cameras, shouting over everyone else and just basically being annoying as hell to watch.

In regards to Ken, he said some pretty awful comments of course people aren't going to be happy about that.

All in all EVERYTHING regardless of how small it is that happens in the BB house gets discussed in minute detail on the forums, it's always been the way. And discussing that is judging them on what happens in the house.

I can only speak for myself, but I'm slagging Katie off for pretending to be nice. Big difference.

No, I don't believe her "You're making people cry, stop it!" rubbish. If someone moulds a public persona on being insulting and downright cruel, it's only expected that they'll be judged on that.

If somebody is in the house purely because of their public persona, it's entirely fair to judge them partly based on that. That's why she's there in the first place, after all.

And I'd be more willing to believe that her softer side was genuine if it didn't utterly contradict her public character. Am I really supposed to believe that someone who sleeps with a married man and cracks jokes about a seriously ill woman online is against "making people cry"?
