Default Random: Surely that oven is a health hazard!

I realise this isn't really a very exciting topic, and I'm not expecting many replies, but it occured to me that placing an oven so close to beds where people will be sleeping could be a big heathy and safety violation?

What if Sam is taking a big hot lasagne out of the oven, notices something pink, gets excited, and drops it all over a sleeping Lesley?! I don't think Lesley would be too happy about that

(By the way, I realise they probably checked that it wasn't an official violation, but sometimes I can't help but feel people don't use common sense anymore)

I'd hate to have an oven in my bedroom.. imagine the smell! Next year perhaps they'll move the oven to the bathroom.. or is that just too much?

Personally though, I see what you are saying and totally agree, it's not the best idea in the world.. however, I like the fridge in the garden lol

It's not the best idea, however it won't be a health and safety hazard because they wouldn't have put it in there otherwise.

I was thinking that, but if it wasn't safe or checked out bb wouldn't have placed it there, they must think its alright for it to be there.

I don't really get it either. I wonder if the current bedroom will turn into a Kitchen with the other house in fact being a dorm??

I doubt it's a health and safety hazard.

It would be pretty bloody irritating to sleep next to though!

in the event of a fire, there are fire extinguishers all around the oven. (but none of them girls will have a clue how 2 use it).

I'm sure they would have had a health and safety official clear it.

They would have to pull out all the stops following January.

I'd assume Big Brother could control that oven, and try to make things burn...just to stink/smoke out the whole room, maybe...

Right from the very beginning before we knew the oven was in the bedroom I knew it would be unhygenic to put it in there. I dont think Big Brother should of put the oven in there.
