POSH wannabe Chanelle was branded the dumbest girl in Britain last night by workmates in her old job.

The 19-year-old infuriated her fellow call centre workers with a series of embarrassing clangers.

And when she wasn't putting her foot in it, she found herself in hot water with bosses for refusing to tone down her racy designer outfits.

Chanelle quit her job at the Halifax Bank of Scotland call centre in Leeds three weeks ago, just before she went into hiding ahead of entering the BB house.

Her former colleagues last night told how she regularly left them open-mouthed with her dizzy comments.

One said: "She asked me if Switzerland was part of Canada in the same way Wales is part of England. I didn't even know where to start with that one.

"Another time she asked what Greenwich Mean Time was. We explained it to her, then she turned round and said, 'So does that mean there's a Greenwich in every country in the world?'"

Clueless Chanelle also insisted sardines grew in tins because they fit so well and told people Bungle from cult kids' TV show Rainbow was a real bear. Staff added that her Wag aspirations were obvious - even when she spent her days dealing with irate bank customers over the phone.

One said: "If a customer asked her name, she'd say, 'That's Chanelle, like the perfume', and to the next one, 'That's Chanelle like the handbag'. But it's not even spelt the same way as Chanel the designer."

Her Posh-inspired dress sense didn't go down well with management either.

Her former workmate recalled: "One day they asked her to take her hat off because it was against security rules. She refused because she said, 'My hair looks awful today', so they had to send her home."

But Chanelle always managed to wriggle out of serious trouble - by flirting with the men in the office.

"She was outrageous but it certainly helped when she turned up late or needed time off," the workmate added. "She even got the afternoon off to go to Posh's book signing."

Meanwhile in the house Big Brother threw mad-for-it Tracey a rave for her birthday. She screamed: "I'm 37. I'm alive. I got in for free! I was in a field! Pounds for sounds!"

Emily's excitement bubbled over too as she covered herself in foam in the tub - then dived in the pool to wash off the suds.
