That's exactly what I said, they removed most stuff which didn't directly correspond to discussing Big Brother like drag queens, sketches, spunking dogs, Jamie's little bits etc. They have much less of it now but it doesn't make the show less trashy. It's not upmarket in the slightest.

Also, making reference in EVERY link to sex? That got old after 2 episodes. 3 years on I should think the show is trying something else.

He was vile.
The way he treated Nicky, and Kara-Louise was disgraceful. And both were hated at the time, and left early. Whilst he came 3rd.

I was fuming when he kept nominating Nicky for being sneaky. He was the most two-faced person in there.

I disagree, by 'upmarket' I don't mean Newsnight but a lot more serious than it once was, which is to its detriment IMO.

I would argue the main show is more trashy than BOTS is now when it used to be the other way round, and I used to prefer BOTS to the actual show

Another (which would be very unpopular with most people) is that I think Nikki was very overrated. She could be very funny, I appreciate that, but there were times when she was quite unpleasant that I think gets glossed over because she's Nikki.

Like when she and Grace were being nasty about Susie after she nominated them (with Nikki saying "Why is she even here? She's had her life") and both of them being spiteful and stealing her wine. And when they sang "Beauty and the Beast" (emphasising "beast") at her.

She did and said things that many other housemates would have been hated for. I don't think she was a bad person, but very easily led.

Luke A was an awful housemate and I could not stand the sight of Lauren, she was an irritant.

Sunshine was one of the most annoying housemates ever.

The worst thing about Nikki was her casual transphobia and the comments she made during the bullying of Shahbaz. Saddening and disturbing
