i think the opposite, i don't think he takes rejection well. If he is up for eviction, i think he will walk before its announced so as to avoid the positive confirmation that he is a reject

Hmmm, the fact that he said he was ready to go, had other stuff to do and more importantly,he had not turned on the waterworks makes me think he meant it.

Would neither surprise or bother me if he walks.
