That's not a dig haha, I'm quite envious that you get to watch all the superior C4 series from the golden days for the first time </3
I watched CBB11 because of Rylan and everyone in my hometown was talking about it, but then afterwards I forgot about the show.

Before that I judged it as "drunk people fighting and being yobbish" because a lot of people who've never seen it before said that and I believed it.

Nothing beats watching them live at the time, when they originally aired.
That feeling of shock and excitement during finals, evictions, launch, and during twists.

TBF not all the C4 series were superior some were but there were some real turkey years in amongst the good ones. The difference back then was if they had a bad year they just let it play out in all its tedium where as now for better or for worse its engineered every day to maximise drama

Although it was purer lets say in its C4 days I dont actually think that format would work anymore if it existed now, with reality drama shows like TOWIE and MIC etc the TV world is a different place viewing audiences would simply not tolerate the last few weeks of say series 1 any more where we basically watched some boring folk chat and tend to chickens

Of course.

But the BB5-BB7 format would work. Because it hasn't changed that much.
