The two are not comparable. I don't think people kick up more of a fuss about racism and I think you need to explain yourself. Racism and Homophobism are the two fears. They are what must be compared.

Racism and homosexuals cant be compared , it dont make sense. Homosexuals would relate to , say , black people. The two groups of whats causing the phobia or whatever.
