Default Why is Big Brother doing this twist?

Usually, with twists theres a meaning behind them and a purpose. This twist though, nothing has been explained as to why it's happening. It may just be a one off, but I was wondering if any of you had an idea on why BB was doing it.

It's weird that they've used this particular timeslot so lamely, after the way they've hyped Brothers and Sisters (which so far is quite disappointing) for the last month.

To cause more arguments i guess, will be interesting to see how they all react after someone is given the money.

No, people didn't know what was going to happen tonight, so they watch it because it's a mystery ! Strategy !

I think it's a great move by BB.

The fact that the prize money, in there eyes, will no longer be there too win, will people want to win? How will people change in the house knowing they have nothing to gain but a weeks worth of celebrity status?! How bitchy will they be of the person who wins it etc... so much to comtemplate.

A masterstroke.... WELL DONE BB!

If they think there is no prize money then why on earth would they want to stay?

They all might walk out in protest.

That happened in the current season of BB Australia. on day 1, BB told the housemates there is no prize money...they have to earn it by the weekly tasks ! $50.000 is they pass...and $0 if they fail. By the way, they have fines if they break a rule.
And they didn't walk !

It's certainly an interesting twist. Can't wait to see how they all react when they assume the prize money is not there to be won any longer, no doubt it will change people.

Thanks for the welcome

The facts are BB have never done anything close to this, maybe with Eugene slightly but that was towards the end of the series and only £50,000? Now it's near enough a month or so into this series, alot of viewing to go and the full £100,000 to take.

Theres going to be fireworks! Imagine if Charley wins it! Haha, that would be funny!

I think it was a great idea...

Now that this has happened - people are either gonna try and get in with Liam, or totally turn against him. People will probably bitch about things; some might threaten to leave; I think if all this happens, too, that it'll cause a lot of pressure between Carole, Seany and Jonathan. I think it could get really interesting.
