I was watching the clip again and wheń Chloe starts shouting at Danny because he is disappointed. If you listen carefully Harry turns to Jack and says well I went with what you said. Which indicates to me she took the money is trying to blame her decision on Jack!

She doesn't believe she has any chance of winning, she is very whingey and deliberately annoying and provoking and not very likeable really, but she doesn't harp on so much as some in there, only to wind them up about the money from what I have seen, so she might as well walk away with something I suppose.
