Default Why do we keep going back to BB5

Its funny its 3 years on and yet we still talk about BB5 more than any of the others and I wonder why that is, was it the people, the tasks a series that had everything. Everytime I watch a new BB I long for the old days lol.

BB5 is the best series overall. It kept BB UK alive, the producers wanted to do something new after the BB4's disaster. The "evil" side, the new characters, completely crazy or mad, the tasks and the house, made an example for the other series. We can't forget BB5 ! Wooo !

It was the best ever. The housemates all contributed toward the series whether you liked them or hated them.

Don't you mean wonder why it isn't? BB7 is talked about much more and rightfully so.
Just look at how many more post it has overall...

BB5 - 32325
BB7 - 121625

It's pretty laughable that people could consider otherwise.

ummm i think 5 is better so much entertainment bb7 went downhill when nikki went as it went so boring and we got the 3rd worst winner out of all the winners where on bb5 we had the best winner out of all the winners.

BB7 wins BB5 hands down!!!

BB5 was full off weirdos!! The only people you could really like for normal reasons (not loving to hate them or entertainment value ect) were Michelle and Emma.
Michelle - Although it was funny her going crasy possesive on stewart it was off putting if you really want to route for what a good person she is.
Emma - She was kicked out. I pretty much gave up on the series being good.

There was LOADS of fun, likeable and very unique HMs on BB7!

Plus BB7 got loads more viewers and has HMs that will ALWAYS be remembered and part of BB history.

It's silly to concider 5 is better!
Every angle that you come from BB7 is better.

Obvoiusly it was really sad losing Nikki but it was FAR from boring after she left!! Nadia!!?? You can't be serious!! A squealing, bizarre looking ****** with the most annoying laugh ever! How is she evenm a person anyone would like let alone a worthy winner of BB! IMO she desgraces BB's image.

Surely thats becuae more people were online during bb7, and bb7 was more viewed as a 'fashion icon'

Well everyone will have their own favourite, maybe the younger ones enjoyed the later BBs ie 6 and 7. I just found for me personally that they had wised up and new it was all about the fame and deals. I think that the foreign BBs are much weirder and OTT.

BB7 in reality wasn't that great, it just generated a s*** load of publicity, keeping BBUK in mainstream media and setting a 4.7m viewer bar, but this is mainly due to the amazing CBB4. BB5 was the best series of Big Brother in the world. It had entertaining housemates, great tasks, a great house, it was well thought out, maybe a little too short (a mere 71 days), but we had so much. Who doesn't remember Nadia's cigarette rampage, Becki's Judas kiss, Jason somehow making it to the final two, Victor's faux rapper persona, the wedding, Big Brother fast food, Kitten's anarchy, Dan and Jason's love affair, and Michelle and Stuart? Ahh, the good days.
