Default Our new addition to the family.
Some of you will remember I lost my beloved dog back in February,i still miss him terribly,I just wanted to tell you about the old boy we have rescued today,Prince is a 10 year old liver and white springer Spaniel,we have known him for a while,a month or so ago the guy who owned him was made homeless due to the homeowner dying,the guy who owns Prince does love him very much but was in need of special help lets say,he was taken in by an alcoholic that is well known in town,as the weeks went on Prince went down hill fast,his fur had been cut off,he is practically bald,his back legs aren't so good,the alcoholic was seen kicking him,so I decided to try and rescue Prince,I found out he was homeless again and his owner was offered a special hostel place but could not take the dog,so we have taken Prince and he is such a gentle ,lovely dog,We are taking him to the vets Monday to get him checked out,so it looks like this dog has found us,lol,my other dog has also taken well to him,so even if he only has a few years with us I hope we can give him a happy time.Just wanted to share our good fortune and hopefully get Prince back to full health,this is what he will look like.

What a fantastic thing to do kaz! it would have been so easy to get a pooch from a breeder but you put your heart and soul into rescuing prince He's so lucky to now be part of your family, I hope he springs back to full health soon and has many many happy years to come xx

I think Prince is very lucky to have found you Kaz.
He is in for a great life with a loving family, he will soon forget the last unfortunate year or so.

My intention was to get a cute looking puppy Kizzy,but we had seen Prince slowly going downhill and it would be so wrong for me not to have considered that he was in need of a home more than pup,that can wait Thanks Kiz.
