Wow, guess you learn something new every day. Michelle learned the hard way

Is there any symbolic meaning behind it then? I mean, nobody would like to have shoes thrown at them, but I can think of worse things to be pelted with.

It could only be an insult if she was aware of the muslim culture.

If flip flops are an insult then that's his problem. Not michelle's. He has no right to expect others not of his belief or culture to follow his culture.

I agree with you in so much as Michelle probably didn't know it was an insult to his culture. I doubt Ahmed will see it like that though.

It does not matter how Ahmad see's it. No one is obliged to follow a culture alien to there own in there own and natural domain.

Trying to respect anothers culture is the polite or diplomatic thing to do. But at the end day we all have a duty to our own standards of living.

I do believe Ahmad has got a big problem accepting the equal rights of women. Having Michelle give him orders was the last straw for him. Sorry but that's his problem. Not anyone elses.

In perspective it's not his fault up to a point as all cultures of all nationalities derive from being brainwashed as children to follow whatever standards parents and grand parents inflict on there off spring.

A vicious circle difficult to break. The populations of the world pays a heavy price as a result.....

If this rumor turms out to be true I'll wave bye bye to BB5 UK and watch BB5 USA on the web.

I just can't stand the way BB5 UK is not letting us decide who we vote out of the house this year.

You have a valid point red moon. BB is not just being "Evil" but is being dicriminatery and unfair against specific housemates.

The eviction of Emma alone for one who only had one warning.

The first and final warning of Michelle for another while Victor and Jason have broken rule on multiple occasions and are still there.

The Judas kiss another. It was inevatable a female housemate would get the kiss as Becki after only a short time in there had not bonded well enough to kiss Jason or Victor on both cheeks without raising suspicion.

I am all in favout of BB being "evil". Bur fairly so against all the housemates.

If you were to enter a competition and then find the organisers influence who can or can't win. They would be in contempt of the law. BB is treading a thin line.....

When they were talking about "throwing a flip-flop" last night, I thought it was a way of saying that Michelle was getting mad with Ahmed. It was only when she was in the diary room that I realised!!

Anyway, what about the double eviction on Friday? Has anyone seen the C4 TV schedule? Is it the same 9pm and 10pm shows? If it is, then I don't see how they are going to fit another double eviction in as it will mean that there won't be time to do the interviews etc.

How? BB draws the line, it can be on whichever side it chooses. If it was hung up on being fair, it'd have to give each housemate equal screentime (among other things) BB has never been fair. To be fair is to be predictable

Extract from Ofcom's proposed Broadcasting standards consultation.

Background to proposed Code section 7 - Fairness
1. The regulation of broadcasting regarding fairness is intended to protect those taking part in person in a programme (or who are otherwise directly affected) from being unfairly treated.

2. Section 3(2)(f) of the Act requires Ofcom to apply standards that provide adequate protection to members of the public and all other persons from unfair treatment in programmes. With regard to fairness, Ofcom is required by section 327 of the Act to take over the functions of the BSC contained in part 5 of the 1996 Act (with some exceptions).

3. Particularly, under section 107(1) of the 1996 Act, Ofcom has a duty to draw up a Code giving guidance as to the principles to be observed and the practices to be followed in connection with avoiding unfair and unjust treatment in programmes. The legislation on which the regulation in this area is based is otherwise unchanged from the 1996 Act. The aim of the principle and rules in the proposed Code is therefore, as can be expected, similar to the Code of Guidance issued by the BSC which is currently in force.

If this is true then he'll probably pick Michelle - but please God, don't let it be Dan!

Well michelle past the task, meaning her and jason are safe this week. so he can't pick her, so he's likely going to pick Dan or shell.

I'd say Dan or Nadia. He's got no beef with Shell, plus Vic gave him that pep-talk about helping Jay out with his "war"

No, he has no problem with nadia, she hasn't annoyed him this week or even last week.

Ahmed's has had a lot of arguments with dan this week and if ahmed can't pick Michelle then he's going for Dan.

Because he probably has it in his mind, that if he isn't evicted this friday that he will Want to Nominate Dan & Michelle.
