Default College travel expenses

I'm starting college next week and was wondering if anyone knew anything regarding travel expenses. I know I was supposed to be getting it originally, as I applied for EMA (Education Maintenance Allowance) but now i'm buying a Uni rider which allows me to travel across a certain region for £68 a month. I'm not sure if the college give you a certain amount of money with these sort of deals/riders or if it's only one-way/return tickets you get your travel covered with. It's probably different in England but if anyone knows anything it would be appreciated

Hmm, i'm not sure if my college does that or not. Surely I would have heard something from them if they did do it though
