[Around 120 refugees in two boats
were able to land at RAF base overnight
Landed just a few hundred metres from
runway used by British bombers

Akrotiri base has been used to bomb ISIS
in Iraq since September last year
Last migrants to arrive there in 1998
are still living at British base on island]

I was at RAF Akrotiri a few weeks ago. How the hell did this happen? It's a shocking breach of security.

I'm glad they're safe too. I'm equally glad a couple of them weren't packing LAWS rockets or similar.

very witty from the sun - real good journalism. it will be interested to see how Cyprus act and if this causes any trouble and if they will be allowed to stay and if not where will they go ?

( excuse me for talking like we are moving vegetables as I do understand they are living people and they are desperate and running for there life. so please don't underestimate the serious I have on this matter. )
